Purpose of this effort is manifold. We hope that players will be able to use the facilities and information offered at this site and improve the skills and become better players. Also this site is aimed at coaches who has interest in using scientific methods in training basketball teams and players. We also plan to bring in other experts such as Sports Medicine physicians, special purpose trainers (speed, endurance etc) in order to provide their advice to coaches and trainees.

As a start, we have decided to collect statistics and video of every game from the recently held 31st Sub Junior National Basketball championship held in Trivandrum, Kerala during August 2004. We hope to do this at every National basketball championships for Sub Junior, Junior, Youth, and Senior championships from quarter finals onwards. For those who are interested in getting copies of Video (in CD, DVD, or VHS formats) and also game statistics can contact us online. We also plan to provide expert analysis of the team's and/or individual performance (coach, trainee, and referee) by Mr. P.C. Thomas if you are interested in it.
